Lomax have been busy in Hungary and France carrying out overhauls & upgrades on two spiral freezing systems for one of the worlds largest ice cream producers.

Works included replacement of belt, plastics, bearings and all other wear components along with upgrading the drive system on one machine to provide a wider range of holding & freezing times, allowing the customer to increase the scope and capacity of products they can produce on the line.

On completion of the works Lomax provided on site support for production start up working closely with the customer to ensure optimum throughput and freezing was achieved.

Maintenance plays an essential role in efficient production, taking a proactive approach minimises costly down time and promotes efficient trouble free operation.
